Hello! My name is Karly Rivers, I am the librarian at Christie Elementary! I look forward to working with our staff and students to help grow the Christie love of literacy and reading!
Students come to the library on a weekly basis with their classes. In addition to checking out new library books, students will learn through story times, comprehension and inferential story questions,... and much MORE! Library lessons support the classroom curriculum and strive to nurture enjoyment and appreciation for literature.
Student Library Hour: 8am - 2:45pm
Expectation: Students are expected to return their books in a timely fashion and in good condition so that other students may enjoy them. We also practice good library citizenship by taking care of our library and ensuring it's always ready for others to enjoy.
